Meshmixer Experience

 

     One critique I received from a classmate was about the colours I need to use. Because I am going for a summer concept, I need to use brighter and cheery colours. That is why I was extra careful when it came to colouring the different objects I used. Another thing I was told to change was the material of the glass. I didn't know I could make materials transparent in Tinkercad, so I made sure the martini glass actually look like it was made out of glass. 

    The floaties I am using are different compared to the ones I used in Tinkercad. I was told that I didn't need to change them, but I disagree because the ones I am using now look more fun and fit the summer concept better. I also added the diving board because someone told me it would make it look more like a swimming pool.

    My creation brings two things that are considered "refreshing" together into something we can understand and enjoy. The objects themselves do not lose their purpose, like how martini glass still holds liquid and the floaties still float on liquid. However, combining all the objects together create a new idea. Though it would not be a safe idea to have a glass cup as a swimming pool, it is aesthetically pleasing.
